I just started the triple treatment on Monday, January 2nd and i almost immediately noticed a strong burning after having a bowel movement. It was as if I had eaten a jar of jalapeno peppers. This was one side effect my dr did not tell me about, but i knew it must have had something to do with the meds. Thanks for this website, as it has answered many of my questions. My main aim now is to try and get down the 60 grams of fat they are recommending i take while on the incivek. THAT IS A LOT OF FAT GRAMS, esp when you do not have an appetite. i have found that the nutrella (hazelnut type peanut butter) is AWESOME! so, i am using that and almonds, walnuts, etc, where i can get the “good” fats in smaller amounts. i am wondering about flax seed oil? does anyone have an opinion regarding this? the tablets and capsules only have 1gm of fat in them, but the actual flax seed oil has 14 gr per 1 TBSP . again, thanks for such a great website. I pray I, and all my fellow Hep C-ers are responders this time. I am a RN that got this by nursing, so i always feel the need to research things fully prior to just taking them at face value. Have a great weekend.
